Injectable Ovine Placenta (SGF1000

Injectable Ovine Placenta (SGF1000 is the trade name) is an innovative formulation consisting of Regenerative Placental Proteins, Cytokines (polypeptide regulators of diverse embryological origin), Peptides, potent Growth Factors and Signaling Molecules derived from Ovine (Sheep) Placental Extract. SGF 1000 is manufactured and purified through a patented low temperature process that involves homogenization, fractionation and ultra-filtration of ovine placental extract suspended in a liquid.

What are Growth Factors?

A Growth Factor is a group of proteins that initiate further growth of specific cells. Growth Factors play a major role in enhancing cell differentiation, cell division and preventing cell death.

What do Growth Factors Do?
Growth factors present in the extract stimulate the growth and division (proliferation) of cells, stimulate the process by which cells mature and carry out their specific function in the body, and enhance cell movement (motility), as well as controlling the self-destruction of cells (apoptosis). They have also proven beneficial in the formation of blood vessels, the regulation of muscle tissue, body fat development, wound healing and immune response function. Certain growth factors in SGF 1000  are particularly abundant in tissues that make up the skeleton where they help facilitate healthy bone growth. SGF 1000 has proven to increase stamina and endurance and also acts as a vasodilator which will lower heart rates and recovery time. By enhancing cell differentiation and migration of the more desired cells, we see an increase in stamina, performance and overall health. SGF 1000 assists in internal cell regeneration, rejuvenation and cellular anti-aging which aids in the repair of damaged organs, muscles, connective tissue, nerve tissue and skin tissue.

One of the Growth factors in SGF 1000 (Transforming Growth Factor in the TGF family) restricts cells from growing and dividing in an uncontrolled manner. Another called FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor) also promotes angiogenesis but is most impactful in the liver and the lungs, as this is where the highest levels of HGF are found. Several human and animal studies support the use of HGF for treatment of lung fibrosis and liver disease. Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF) attaches itself to FGF2 and contributes to the repair of epithelial cells on many glands. KGF has the ability to accelerate the healing process within the body. Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)  binds to the same receptor as the TGF family. In vivo, EGF induces epithelial development, promotes angiogenesis and, importantly, inhibits gastric acid secretion. Stem Cell Factor (SCF)  plays a vital role in hematopoiesis (the production of blood cells and platelets which occurs in bone marrow). Maintaining optimum red blood cell formation is crucial for improved performance and faster recovery in animals as it allows for a higher hemoglobin content. SCF also aids spermatogenesis.

Fibronectin-like Peptides – These peptides have the ability to interact with many ligands ( a ligand is a molecule that produces a signal by binding to a site on a target protein)  and play a role in morphogenesis (the biological process that causes cells to develop their shape) including cell adhesion, migration, differentiation and specific gene expression. Fibroblast Growth Factor 2 (FGF2) FGF2 stimulates angiogenesis (the development of new blood vessels from existing vessels). Enhanced expression of FGF2 increases tissue perfusion and improves delivery of oxygen to vital organs including the heart, muscles and the liver, resulting in an increase in stamina and endurance.

Doesn’t all that sound wonderful? Dogs, cats, horses, any animal usually feel a boost of energy after ovine placenta injections. They truly do make the animal feel young again. It takes about 3 injections one to 3 weeks apart to see the full effect. After that, some animals can go a variable amount of time between injections. It depends on the severity of their condition.
