She had been providing quality veterinary medical  for all her clients since then.  All Paws is a small practice but that is the way we like it. We get to know our clients better that way. We have a full service veterinary facility. We offer vaccinations, surgery, Xrays, blood tests, all the usual veterinary things. Dr. St.Germain does not offer holistic care unless she feels it would be helpful, and then always with the owner’s knowledge and permission. Holistic vets usually practice this way. It is not always necessary to use alternative therapy. Regular Western medicine is sometimes the quickest and best treatment. Dr. St.Germain likes to consider her practice a bridge between Eastern and Western medicine.

Lebanon, Kentucky has been my home since 1992. I have been providing quality veterinary medical care for all my clients since then.  All Paws is a small practice but that is the way we like it. We are proud of our luxury boarding facility. We think it is the best and most reasonably priced in Lebanon.  All our boarding kennels have indoor /outdoor spaces so dogs are never trapped in a cage. Heating in the Winter and air conditioning in the Summer is also provided in roomy, comfortable suites. Our clients say their dogs are In 1981, a friend encouraged me to take an acupuncture course with her and I was immediately convinced of its value.  I became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 1981 by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. (Many veterinarians practicing acupuncture today are not certified.) I have been practicing holistic medicine alongside of Western medicine ever since then.

An intuitive approach works best for me with all my patients, but first I do my regular exam routine, get a weight, temp, look the pet over, look at the old records and listen to the story of the pet's medical problems.
Sometimes alternative therapy is not the best thing for the case, and I will always recommend the most expedient therapy. However, most difficult problems are those that have reached a dead end in Western medicine and that is why they are seeking alternative help. I can offer testimonials for my holistic work. I have successfully treated animals with diagnosed cancer, autoimmune disease, terrible skin problems, and other so-called incurable problems.

I have lots of pets myself (one of the “perks” of being a vet is free vet care!). I have several parakeets........EVERAL an Amazon parrot, some Angelfish, a Doberman pinscher, a Rottweiler,a little blind rat terrier, who is ancient, 2 Siamese cats, and just a regular old cat.

I find that my techniques can sometimes move or shift very stubborn cases, even cancer. Please don’t give up if your pet has a difficult problem, such as a stubborn skin case, autoimmune disease or arthritis. Give alternative medicine a chance! You must understand that complementary therapy does not come cheaply, and does require an owner commitment. But it is usually less costly than Western Medicine and often has happier results for the patient since drugs can be toxic in chronic cases over a period of time. Better to use something gentler. Very nice for older pets.

God bless you and your pets. Thank you for visiting our site.

Ciao!
